Profile and Overview

River RunThe Keystone Neighbourhood Company (KNC) is an umbrella association in charge of all common areas at River Run, Ski Tip Ranch, Trappers Crossing, Alders, River Meadows and Settlers Creek Neighbourhoods at Keystone Resort in the high Rockies of Colorado.

The KNC provides basic services such as snow and litter removal, transportation, security, landscaping, and wetlands maintenance, and is responsible for assessing the need for and constructing community buildings.

The company is also responsible for planning and implementing special events for the community which range from story tellers, street entertainers, and educational programs to the larger scale festivals and The Pavilion performing arts tent, which brings many Colorado neighbors to the Keystone area.

The KNC is controlled by a nine member Executive Board made up of developers, ski area personnel, merchants and homeowners. The KNC is operated by four employees: Molly Speer Executive Director, Heidi Stenhammer, Business Manager, Josh Blanchard, The Pavilion at Keystone and Events Manager and Lesley Johnson, Event Coordinator as well as a 12 member Village Opeartions Staff. The KNC office is located on the north side of the Silver Mill building facing the free lots. Please stop by the next time you are in Keystone. Office hours are Monday through Saturday, 8 - 5.

The Neighbourhood Company Declaration provides that 10% of all funds collected from the Annual Real Estate Assessment must be placed into a Community Facilities Fund for the construction and financing of facilities such as a theater, library, chapel, park, recreation center and/or child care center. The Executive Board has the power and authority to build and operate these additional facilities as the community grows and the need arises.
