Hello KNC Homeowners! As the sun sets a little earlier and the mornings bring in a hint of a winter chill, we are enjoying every single summer afternoon we have left here in the high country. While some of us are excited for ski season, some of us aren’t quite ready to think about snow. Without further ado, read on for the September updates around the ‘hood!

OKTOBERFEST WRAPS UP 2026 Keystone FESTIVALS
Keystone Festivals is excited to wrap up the 2026 summer season with Keystone Oktoberfest on Saturday, September 5th in River Run Village. The final festival of the season is a celebration of good beer, good food, and soaking up sunshine in the high country. The festival pays homage to the Oktoberfest in Germany with Oktoberfest style draft beer, traditional German dancers, pretzels, brats, and of course, stein hoisting competitions. - Friday, September 4th – Keystone Concert Series with Frisco Funk Collective

MEET THE BOARD: EMILY LUTKE
“Originally from Michigan, I moved to Breckenridge in 2005 after my husband, Tom, introduced me to life in Summit County and what began as a single season quickly became a permanent home. After several years balancing seasonal adventures with time in the mountains, we settled in Breckenridge full time in 2009.
I spent nearly two decades at Breckenridge Ski Resort in Product Sales and Services, where I developed a strong focus on guest experience, operations, and community connection. I currently serve as Director of Base Experience at Keystone, continuing to prioritize meaningful experiences for both guests and locals. I’m an active community volunteer and board member for FIRC, Breck History, and our neighborhood HOA.
Outside of work, I enjoy traveling, camping, biking, and supporting my two kids in their pursuits. I’m passionate about preserving the character and vitality of our mountain communities and look forward to contributing thoughtful, community-focused leadership.”
LAWSUIT DISMISSED
The Summit County District Court has granted the Motions to Dismiss filed by the Keystone Neighbourhood Company (the “Neighbourhood Company”) and Defendants Vail Summit Resorts, Inc. and Keystone/Intrawest L.L.C.
