20th Anniversary of the Keystone Bluegrass and Beer Festival
August 6, 2016 @ 1:00 pm - August 7, 2016 @ 5:00 pm$40.00
What’s on tap in August? Beer, beer and more Colorado beer. The Keystone Bluegrass and Beer Festival will serve up more than 100 brews from 35-plus Colorado breweries Aug. 6-7.
20 years, yes that is the truth, in 1996 Keystone hosted one of the first “micro-brew” festivals in the state and what a long way we’ve come. We know that you have a choice of multiple craft beer festivals to attend any given weekend in Colorado but we invite you to join us at one of the longest running and most well organized craft beer festivals in the state. What does 20 years mean? Well, we’ve got the operations dialed and we’re going to celebrate 20 years with bigger, better and more bands and throw a party with all of you! This festival will showcase craft beer from Colorado and beyond, leading bluegrass musicians and a fun weekend for everyone!
Back this year, beer lovers can vote in the battle of the brews social media throw down by tweeting, instagramming or posting their favorite brew with the hashtag #keystonebestbrew. The brew with the most social votes will be crowned the festival’s “Best Brew.”
Raise a pint or two for a toast to the lineup of bluegrass bands. The Keystone Neighbourhood Company event organizers are bringing bluegrass from the likes 2016 Bluegrass Line-Up includes Jeff Scroggins and Colorado, T Sisters, Lonely Heartstrings Band, Mason Town, Mandolin Orange, Tim O’Brien, Peter Rowan Band, Larry Keel Experience and more!
Plus, all that beer drinking is for a good cause. Like all of the Keystone Neighbourhood Company events, a portion of the proceeds will be donated to a local nonprofit. For the Bluegrass and Beer Festival, the donations benefit The High County Conservation Center.
