Summer 2018 Track #1: the Keystone Bacon and Bourbon Festival: June 23 – 24, 2018

Some people may say that chicks rule when it comes to the 8th Annual Bacon and Bourbon Festival music line-up.  Leading all female AC/DC tribute band, Hell’s Belles, have been performing at the event since its inception 8 years ago. The ladies are back again for 2018 to play Saturday and close out the festival on Sunday!  This year Hell’s Belles are joined by fellow female rockers Lez Zeppelin, a female quartet that serve as the authentic female counterpart to one of the greatest rock groups of all time – Led Zeppelin.  Grab your Bacon Bloody Mary and enjoy the Denver based female singer/songwriter/guitar rocker, Tiffany Christopher who will kick off Sunday’s concerts at 1pm. See the full free Bacon and Bourbon concert line-up for yourself! You won’t want to miss a beat.

Summer 2018 Track #2: Keystone’s Wine and Jazz Festival: July 14 – 15, 2018

What pairs better with over 300 varieties of wine to enjoy over two days? Free live jazz concerts from 7 different jazz artists including Althea Rene, a renowned solo improvisational flutist, and local favorites, Dotsero, hailing from Denver whose contemporary jazz is full of life, energy and spontaneity that few artists in the genre have been able to match. In addition, Jeff Kashiwa brings a smooth jazz spin to the weekend line-up, add in 4 additional bands and we’ve got free concerts both Saturday and Sunday that have a little bit of jazz for everyone.

Summer 2018 Track #3: Keystone’s 22nd Annual Bluegrass and Beer Festival: August 4 – 5, 2018

You come for the beer, you’ll stay for the music.  Fans of the long running Keystone Bluegrass and Beer Festival come to taste 100’s of craft beers from 40+ breweries.  Fans become loyalists because of the sixteen bluegrass bands that grace the three stages throughout the festival grounds.  River Run Village at Keystone is alive with mountain music all weekend long and features Mandolin Orange on one of the main stage spots each day.  The North Carolina duo’s music, laced with bluegrass, country and folk, will sure to be a treat for beer drinking festival goers.  Saturday’s headliner, the Lil Smokies, will rock the stage with their electric energy. Sunday afternoon don’t miss headliner Brent Cobb whose music is full of blue-eyed soul, country funk and a kind of swamp boogie adding in some variety to the traditional bluegrass line-up. Book a condo and spend the weekend because there are 13 additional free bluegrass shows to take in over the two days plus 100’s of beers to sample.  Pace yourself!

Summer 2018 Track #4: Keystone’s Mountain Town Music Festival: Saturday, August 18th, 2018

A celebration of all things Colorado.  Warm summer days, free live music from national acts and the harvest season for our colorful state. Speaking of free live music, you’ll want to be in the know on this festival, these bands are the ones to watch.  Four free concerts take place throughout Saturday in the heart of River Run Village at Keystone. Sip on your craft beer, enjoy your Colorado culinary concoction and take in these awesome acts. The Mulligan Brothers, The Dustbowl Revival, The Lone Bellow and 2018 headliner, Blind Pilot!  The Lone Bellow burst onto the scene with their self-titled debut in 2013. The Brooklyn-based band quickly became known for their transcendent harmonies, serious musicianship and raucous live performance — a reputation that earned them their rabid fan base. Headlining Mountain Town Music for the first time are Blind Pilot. A Portland-based group, Blind Pilot strikes a balance between mellow folk and West Coast indie pop and are the perfect way to wrap up the Mountain Town music line-up. While you’re taking in the tunes take a stroll and visit the vendors from across Colorado that highlight original art, hats, jewelry, clothing and more!  As always there will be activities for the kiddos with face painters and plant your own flowerpot.  A signature fireworks show on Saturday night will light up the sky over River Run Village, and with Dercum Mountain in the background, there’s not a prettier place to take in the evening’s spectacle.
