KEYSTONE NEIGHBOURHOOD COMPANY UPDATE ON COVID – 19
To Our Keystone Festival Enthusiasts,
COVID-19 UPDATE AS OF 6/10/2020
THE KEYSTONE NEIGHBOURHOOD COMPANY POSTPONES RIVER RUN ART FESTIVAL TO 2021
Organizers for the 2020 River Run Art Festival have made the difficult decision to cancel this year’s Art Festival, slotted for July 25 – 26, due to the COVID-19 pandemic. Please stay in touch with the Keystone Neighbourhood Company via our website and social media outlets for the most up to date event schedule.
THE KEYSTONE NEIGHBOURHOOD COMPANY POSTPONES THE 24TH ANNUAL BLUEGRASS AND BEER FESTIVAL TO 2021
Like all of you, we have been holding on to a sliver of hope that maybe we could pull off our biggest festival, Bluegrass and Beer, in early August. With uncertainty surrounding environmental health and safety, governmental guidelines on large gatherings, travel restrictions for our musicians, and so many other factors, The Keystone Neighbourhood company has made yet another difficult decision to push the Bluegrass and Beer Festival to 2021. This festival is our largest in terms of attendance, and beyond the logistical problems mentioned, we cannot find it in our hearts to put so many people at risk, even if it is for an event we love so dearly. Bluegrass & Beer has been a staple Keystone event for 23 years and we thank you for being a part of that 23 years. The 24th anniversary will have to wait until August 7-8, 2021.
We know no one is excited to hear this news, but we hope that this keeps thousands of people a little bit safer, and gives everyone ample time to plan (or un-plan) accordingly. Thank you again for all of your support; we truly are all in this together.
Eventbrite refunds will be processed in 7-10 business days.
THE KEYSTONE NEIGHBOURHOOD COMPANY POSTPONES MOUNTAIN TOWN MUSIC FESTIVAL TO 2021
The Keystone Neighbourhood Company has made the very difficult decision to postpone the Mountain Town Music Festival slotted for August 15th. The health and well-being of our employees, guests and event partners are our top priority and we’ve decided that hosting large festivals to celebrate summer in our beautiful state will have to wait until 2021. We invite you to mark your calendars and save the date for August 21st, 2021 at which time we can join together to rejoice in our love for Colorado with national music acts and delicious eats and treats from the Colorado harvest. Please stay tuned to our social media outlets for further information and social media take over or visit www.keystonefestivals.com for up to date information on all things Keystone Festivals. We appreciate your support for our summer festivals and we look forward to bringing everyone together in 2021!
THE KEYSTONE NEIGHBOURHOOD COMPANY POSTPONES OKTOBERFEST FESTIVAL TO 2021
Keystone’s Oktoberfest is the KNC’s final event of the summer and although we have held out hope that we would be back in the business of bringing people together in September, we are taking every precaution and have decided to postpone Oktoberfest to 2021. This Labor Day may look a little different for all of us but we encourage you to celebrate Keystone Oktoberfest at home this fall with Polka music, pretzel necklaces and plenty of New Belgium beer.
Keystone Oktoberfest originally slotted for September 5th, 2020 will be moved to September 4th, 2021. With the postponement of the festival, we expect those stein hoisting arm muscles to be bigger than ever for 2021. We appreciate your understanding of the difficult decisions that all event organizers are having to make. With keeping the health of our partners, guests and staff top priority, we feel it is the best decision for our community at this time due to COVID-19.
Thank you for being a part of Keystone summer festivals, we can’t wait to see you in 2021 for a much needed celebration!
Eventbrite refunds will be processed in 7-10 business days.
COVID-19 UPDATE AS OF 4/30/2020
THE KEYSTONE NEIGHBOURHOOD COMPANY POSTPONES WINE & JAZZ FESTIVAL TO 2021
The Keystone Neighbourhood Company events team works hard year-round to bring guests their six favorite summer festivals here in Keystone. Postponing the 10th Anniversary of the Bacon & Bourbon Festival was plan Z, but it is in the best interest of all of our guests, sponsors, partners, vendors, and employees to continue postponing large events until the pandemic passes. With that in mind, it may come as no great surprise that the Keystone Neighbourhood Company has also made the extremely difficult decision to postpone Keystone Wine & Jazz Festival, which was scheduled for July 11-12, 2020. Waiting until 2021 to celebrate will allow us to bring you best possible Wine & Jazz experience, keeping the Keystone spirit alive with 400+ varietals of wine, bands from across the country, and a jam-packed dance floor, none of which are possible in our current climate. Instead, we invite you to join us on July 17-18, 2021 when the traditional celebration can commence once again. Though we cannot ignore the undeniable impact this situation has on our economy, friends and neighbors, we are trying to stay optimistic and take note of the little daily joys that life still brings, like glasses of wine accompanied by your favorite jazz albums on your home speakers. The Keystone Neighbourhood Company appreciates your understanding and will provide information regarding future scheduling of events as it becomes available. Please stay tuned to our social media outlets for further information or visit www.keystonefestivals.com. Stay home, stay safe, and stay jazzy!
Festival ticket refunds will be processed through Eventbrite. Please allow 7-10 days for the refund to process.
COVID-19 UPDATE AS OF 4/16/2020
THE KEYSTONE NEIGHBOURHOOD COMPANY POSTPONES THE 10TH ANNIVERSARY OF THE BACON AND BOURBON FESTIVAL TO 2021
Nothing brings people together like Bacon. This has been proven year over year at Colorado’s longest running Bacon & Bourbon Festival that takes place at Keystone Resort each year in late June. With the 10th Anniversary upon us, the Keystone Neighbourhood Company has made the difficult decision to postpone the 2020 Bacon and Bourbon Festival slotted for June 27 & 28 to June 2021. Festival organizers had big plans in store for the 10th Anniversary but fans will have to wait. While Bacon unites so many, COVID-19 and its impact is still the top concern at the KNC. The health and wellbeing of our employees, guests and event partners are our priority and we’ve decided that gathering to celebrate all things bacon will have to wait until 2021. We invite you to mark your calendars and save the date for June 26 – 27, 2021 at which time the celebration of the 10th Anniversary of Bacon and Bourbon at Keystone will commence. The Keystone Neighbourhood Company appreciates your understanding and will provide information regarding future scheduling of events as it becomes available. Please stay tuned to our social media outlets or this site for further information.
Refunds will be processed through Eventbrite. Please allow 7-10 days for the refund to show.
COVID-19 UPDATE AS OF 3/27/2020

Tickets remain on sale for our Keystone Festival 2020 summer line-up, and you may be wondering about our plans given the current state of COVID-19 and its spread. As we find our way through these uncharted circumstances, our priority is the health and safety of our employees, supporters, artists and the community.
At this time, we believe it is too early to make decisions about any adjustments to our summer festival schedule since our events don’t begin until the end of June with the Bacon and Bourbon Festival. We are closely monitoring updates from Summit County Public Health and Colorado Department of Public Health and Environment and will communicate often with you – our festival supporters – so you can carefully consider your summer plans.
Please be comforted that in the case of a cancellation or postponement of a Keystone Festival that prohibits your ability to attend, we will provide either a full refund or a ticket credit for that particular rescheduled Festival.
We have every confidence that, together with each other’s encouragement, the show will go on. We look forward to reconnecting with our community this summer, and thank you for your continued support of Keystone Festivals.
Stay well,
Maja Russer
Director of Events and Marketing
The Keystone Neighbourhood Company
